If you answered yes to any of these questions, chances are that skills training can help you. Skills training is a unique core service tailored to each individual and their goals. Your independent living Specialist is a partner in figuring out ways for you to do things and getting the tools you need to accomplish tasks.
The skills you learn can be anything from balancing a checkbook to cooking the perfect meal for friends and family. Unlike traditional physical or occupational therapy, in skills training you get to decide what success looks like. What you want to learn is totally up to you.
